Leather Care Advice
How to care for premium leather:
- Leather is a natural product and so shouldn’t be submerged in water. To clean mud off your product use a barely damp cloth to wipe it and then lay it out to dry naturally. Do not use a direct heat source to dry it (i.e. not on a radiator / with a hairdryer) as this may cause the leather to become brittle.
- If the leather does get very wet for any reason, wipe off any excess water and use the same process as above.
- If your dog goes into the sea wearing our products, wipe the leather with a damp cloth before letting it dry to remove the corrosive salt.
- To maintain the leather’s suppleness and to improve the appearance of any marks / scratches we recommend using a leather balm to nourish it, and help add water resistance for future use. The best leather care products we have found are made from natural ingredients.
